Good to know

Your questions, answered.

What makes the T-Handle Series different from standard retractable ratchet straps?
The T-Handle Series features Tiger Australia’s exclusive 3-Mode Control System, providing Lock Mode, Unlock Mode, and Free Retract Mode for superior control, safety, and convenience.
What is Lock Mode?
Lock Mode completely locks the mechanism, preventing both strap extension and retraction. This helps keep the strap secured during transport and storage.
What is Unlock Mode?
Unlock Mode allows the strap to be pulled out freely while preventing automatic retraction. The strap can only retract when the release button is pressed.
What is Free Retract Mode?
Free Retract Mode enables automatic retraction. Once the strap is released, it smoothly retracts back into the housing for fast and convenient storage.
Why use a T-Handle instead of a standard handle?
The ergonomic T-Handle provides a more comfortable grip and improved leverage, making tensioning and releasing the strap easier, especially when securing heavier loads.
What can these straps be used for?
These 25mm medium-duty retractable ratchet straps are designed for securing lighter loads such as motorcycles, bicycles, kayaks, camping equipment, garden tools, furniture, roof rack cargo, and general household items. They are ideal for everyday transport and recreational use but are not intended for heavy industrial load restraint applications.
Are the straps weather resistant?
Yes. The straps are made from high-strength polyester webbing that is resistant to UV exposure, moisture, and everyday outdoor conditions. In addition, the retractable mechanism features stainless steel internal springs for enhanced corrosion resistance, durability, and long-term performance.
Do the straps retract automatically?
Yes. In Free Retract Mode, the strap automatically retracts into the housing, helping prevent tangles and making storage quick and easy.
Are the hooks coated?
Yes. The S-hooks feature a durable protective coating to help reduce wear and provide a secure connection point.
What is the main benefit of the 3-Mode Control System?
The 3-Mode Control System gives users complete control over extension, tensioning, and retraction, making the T-Handle Series safer, easier to use, and more versatile than traditional retractable ratchet straps.
